Dear Mother: am on the road now. Will come home as soon as I can get home. Answer at once. Your son Herbert.

Addressee: Mrs. Frances L. Medoris(?)

(Our) Post Script:

This first coliseum at the Indiana State Fairgrounds current location looks like it was almost as large as the current–and recently renovated–one.

It’s been 100 years and one week ago (today) since this post card was sent from son to mother. Wonder what Herbert was doing in his travels? Perhaps working?

Penny for your thoughts: Have you or anyone else in your family ever traveled for work?
