Sunday Ads: The Mass Ave Hotel that Was

There was talk of a boutique hotel joining the Massachusetts Avenue scene where the Fire Department currently stands. While that particular plan wasn’t selected, the implementation of such an idea on the avenue would not have been a new one. We’ve mentioned this hotel before, The Enterprise was on the Avenue where the former Marott’s Shoe Store now stands.

    It wasn’t as fancy, but perhaps fairly long ago there was a hotel in Rocky Ripple near the north end of the area. I’ve never heard anything about it from anyone, even though we had friends that used to live right at the point made by White River and the Canal.
