If you didn’t know, the National Trust for Historic Preservation will be holding its national conference in Indianapolis at the end of October/ beginning of November 2013. It’s kinda like the Superbowl of preservation–well, except there is deeper meaning and longer term impact for our community and many others.
As with the Super Bowl, there will be a need for volunteers. If you are interested, please post a message here or email us and we will get you in touch with the right people!
Check out this video, which showcases Indy in a way we’ve never seen before–what do or don’t you recognize? Lots of Indy gems found within!
Suggestion: I live “out of town”, but an Indianapolis friend of the family named Margo Scheuring might volunteer (she has an abiding interest in historic preservation)… and one can mention my name as “recommending” her…
Very kind of you, Basil. I don’t want to have someone’s email address viewable on here if they didn’t do it themselves. Also, I’m only comfortable passing along to the committee those who have personally and directly expressed an interest. I hope you understand and I appreciate your thought. If you would like to tell your friend about it and she’s interested, great–she can contact us at feedback (at) historicindianapolis (dot) com. Cheers!
Thanks for the advice, Tiffany. I wasn’t “thinking” when I put her email address in here. Ooops! i’ll contact her and see if she’d be interested and have her contact you.
