    In the fifties, my dad used to take us here for drive-up meals.
    The covered carport was a single line in the rear and carhops were on skates.
    The big thing about the place was that on weekends a local D.J. played hits, live from the shack on the roof, and it was airing on the radio at the same time.
    I believe it was WIBC…
    Great burgers and Tenderloins.

      Dick Summer was the DJ He used to play new songs and asked listeners to call in and vote to “make it or break it”.

    The food came out from the kitchen on a conveyor belt. The food orders were sent by machines that copied the waitresses’ hand writing.
