What a surprise when I looked at these articles. My Mom could have been the model for the coat and hat or the dresses. She worked at LS Ayres when she was 16 so that would have been 1927. She briefly date Ayres’ son and spent time up in Ravenswood. She loved the flapper dresses…and yes, she was a flapper. Her name was Anna Claire (Becker) Bryant.
