So, Easter 2012 is now in the history books, but it’s the time of year that many of us start gravitating  towards pastels and pinks–one of my favorite colors, truth be told–though I realize pink isn’t for every gal. How about you?

Take a gander at these pink pretties from spring 1961…

The above left (in a decidedly unfeminine stance, I note) is more lilac than pink, but was available for purchase at Wm. H. Block’s. And is it just me, or does the gal on the right look a bit like a young Julia Roberts?

I try to save the best for last and this fabulous pink suit has my name all over it! Looks like something Jackie O would have worn, doesn’t it? Or like an earlier iteration of a quite famous Jackie O. suit she DID wear…though it may not be a popular opinion, but I love the monochromatic look, matching beads and dress. And! We really need to bring back hats! Who’s with me? Well, I know they are at the IMA and wish I could go to the upcoming Fashion Arts Society “Hat’s Off” luncheon–looks like fun and tickets are still available.
