Do you know the location of where the photo was taken?
Nope; that’s the frustrating thing with some of the old photos–too general a description, when you get one at all!
Have you ever heard of a terrible train wreck in or near Broad Ripple back in the mid-to-late 1800s? I seem to remember reading about a wreck there on an historical marker on the Monon Trail.
This treatise on Broad Ripple’s history (like, say, Irvington) is worth following!
