Indianapolis had a huge, thriving biking culture in the late 1890’s–isn’t it fascinating how we are experiencing a renaissance of this long-time favorite outdoor activity. Makes you wonder where the favorite biking trails of the 1890’s were–and what the ‘road conditions’ were.
