I have noticed the following in many historical advertisements, which would appear quite odd today. In the past, if a business’ space covered more than one address as designated by the city, they listed all of those addresses in their advertisement as in “18, 20 & 22 South Pennsylvania St.”.
Today, we would list only one address and probably the “roundess” one as in “20 S. Pennsylvania St.”.
