As a new resident of Northern Hills in 1964, my family consisted of my husband, daughter and Me. In 1965, we had grown to 5 with our two sons being born in 1964 and 1965. Cows visited us by looking in our windows which was a source of entertainment to our neighbors and family. Several years later, as a member of Nora grade school PTA, several of us became interested in our neighborhoods at which time I met Ruth and Al Wood who lived just North of86 th and East of Westfield. I am so sorry for not remembering many details but at 86 years old I feel fortunate to remember as much as I do. Al was also interested in the same concerns and told me of several others who were going to get together and so Nora Community Counsel was born. Al became our President, can’t remember most others except Sheriff Tom Parker (Sheriff of Williams Creek) Ruth Hays, an attorney John- and myself met in the Winterton buildings.
