This arch over the front door is out of place; definitely; maybe old photos of this type of design could have been consulted prior to it being installed…this type of house was common in the late 1890s and early 1900s across the East Side (where Oakland Avenue is located)…just an idea!

A classic example of “re-mudling”,those “embellishments” look like the fifth wheel on the wagon.

Seems they lined up the arch with the steps rather than the door.
