I drive past this house every day on the way to work, and mentally restore it back to it’s original state, along with others up and down college – repainting, repairing roofs, removing aluminum and vinyl siding, repairing trim in my head as I drive by…
I absolutely love this house and the elderly Rastafarian that calls it home! I think it is a tribute to art for arts sake and the individuality of the owner. I like the focus of this site and the historical nature of most of the discussions, but I have to beg to differ on this one. This home is great and it makes this stretch of College Ave. interesting!
This house has been whacked out for some time. The ol’ Rasta that lives here is a local favorite. Anyway, this decor is so terrible that it loops all the way back around back to pure awesomeness.
Although I feel sorry for the house from a preservationist mind-set, it always gives me a smile when I pass by.
yes, it is so horrible…horrible taken to a degree i have never seen before. poor house, but it does make me smile.
I smile, shake my head, and laugh. This house has been the topic of a fes conversations and I love that it is on here!
